2012 has seen some innovative book to film adaptations and we're giving away a trilogy of fictions that inspired some of the finest, courtesy of Picador publishers.London Film Festival pick, Rust and Bone's love story was devised by director Audiard, who brought together two characters who never meet in Craig Davidson's shorts collection, which tackles sex addiction and magic amongst other themes.
Picador has issued a new edition of Matthew Quick's debut, The Silver Linings Playbook to celebrate the film release later this month, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert DeNiro. Its protagonist emerges from a stint in a neural health institution into everyday life, which he now firmly believes is a film directed by God.
To mark the release of Cosmopolis on DVD and Blu-Ray, there's a new edition of the DeLillo novel that inspired it. Chronicling a day in the life of multi-billionaire, Eric Packer - his world encapsulated in his limousine.
