.
The Arts Desk“Small but exquisite jewel of an exhibition...” This is a stunning exhibition that looks not only at the many faces of Jane Avril but casts an illuminating light upon Lautrec’s deep engagement with the seamy Belle Époque world he brought to life and immortalised with breathtaking verve...
.

.
The Independent“One of the best small exhibitions of the year...” Brings out exactly the combination of brilliance and human understanding which made Toulouse-Lautrec such a great portrayer of the performer and the mask we all present to the world...
.
The Telegraph“This is terrific little show...” In almost every image of her, Lautrec’s usual satire is replaced with affection and admiration for her talent, humour and moral courage...
