Universe of Sound: The Planets

Opens: 23/05/2012 Closes: 08/07/2012 The Science Museum, London

In a brilliantly literal take on Holst's The Planets suite, this interactive installation melds classical music, technology and planetarium visuals to ape the experience of performing the piece with a virtual Philharmonia Orchestra. Digital screens and simulators enable novice and experienced musicians alike to participate as an orchestra member, arranger or conductor.
