When Disney fairies meet Indie/Alternative music: the result is a surprisingly good mixture and a very good album.

Let's do it quickly: "Made in the Dark" was really a great album, I had too high expectations I guess. But "One Life Stand" is a very good record, with killer songs like "Thieves in the Night", "I Feel Better", "We Have Love" and "Take It In".

Disappointing. This confirms my theory: each artist/band trying to modernize Trip-Hop fail at it. Bands like Portishead, for example, changed their style into some outstanding and orgasmic Experimental/Electronic music, and it was huge.

This year is totally promising, a lot of outstanding albums so far. "Swim" by Caribou is one of them. It embodies his Electronic maestria.

A unique vision of nature's mysteries discovery. The music is simply fantastic. Even the "uglier" (or should I say "uncommon") parts on the first CD make totally sense (for example "Variation of Birds" that actually sounds like electronic birds).

The only problem in this album is Bashy as a featuring. The rest is pure brilliance.
