CultureCritic is a criticism-based website dedicated to the best in arts and entertainment. It’s a place for astute cultural observers to gather and have their say on the arts. Whether it’s film, music, literature, art, theatre, opera or dance, our users are invited to provide a little food for thought as they submit their own reviews.

With the aid of the Critometer, the opinions of a number of carefully selected critics are aggregated to provide an overall score* for each entry. We reduce each review to its crucial details, and link each snippet to its original source. CultureCritic enables you to make the best use of your time and get the most out of your cultural life – whether you’re deciding which book to take on a trip away or which exhibition to visit on a Thursday night. 

We host a daily blog featuring interviews, the latest news and the best exclusive online arts material. We also host special offers of the kind you won’t find anywhere else.

Culture-Shot is our weekly e-bulletin, and offers an overview of the best new items out each week as well as a guide to what’s about to finish and what’s on the horizon.

CultureCritic is a project by Cultureshock Media, a custom publishers and production company based in London. CultureCritic was launched in October 2008 as an extension of the Culture-Shot e-bulletin.
