The first Tunng album to take more than a year to write and produce, ‘…And Then We Saw Land’ is also the band’s most collaborative effort to date, with each member contributing fully to the project throughout. The effect on the sound is pronounced – it’s an album packed with joy and optimism. More than ever before, Mike has shared vocals with Becky Jacobs, whose otherworldly vocals are full of colour and character.

“We wanted to make a record that would be a great live set so I think we naturally started writing more powerful music,” says Mike. “My friend described it as ‘Epic Folk Disco Brass Magnificent,’ and I’m not sure you could call any other Tunng record that.”
