ROH2 are getting a reputation for adventurousness following their OperaShots series, and this site-specific enactment of Edward Lear's beloved 1867 poem is no exception. The eccentric author would no doubt have approved of a performance which combines community choirs and a libretto by ex-Python Terry Jones on its watery journey along the canals of London.
