We admit we were sold on this re-release before we heard a note – a musical take on Poe’s chilling tales by 50s composer Buddy Morrow (born Muni Zudekoff) and his swing orchestra. 30 tracks take in rockabilly, doo-wop and jazz, and achieve a vintage horror B-movie feel that modern counterparts can only dream of. Look out for a cameo by horror show host John Zacherel.
