Peter Broderick - These Walls Of Mine

Released: 22/10/2012 Erased Tapes

Just months after http://www.itstartshear.com, his concept album about internet piracy, Peter Broderick offers up his second long-player of the year, this time on Erased Tapes. It’s an oddly assembled set of experimental songs held together (in Broderick’s words) ‘by a dialogue of voices’. See ‘Proposed Solution To The Mystery of The Soul’ (or the 'trailer' below) for an example of said dialogue in action.

Drowned In Sound“Instinct and intrigue...” Unconventional and imaginative methods of making pop music, the results have never been devoid of feeling or a humanistic edge. In fact, the majority of 'These Walls of Mine' feels decidedly home-cooked, genuine and humane...
