Phronesis - Alive

Released: 26/07/2010 Edition

Named after an Aristotelian philosophy about achieving goals using a practical approach, Phronesis succeed in making complex jazz rhythms sound relatively easy to perform. Danish double-bassist Jasper Høiby leads the piano trio through this thrilling set, recorded at The Forge in Camden last year.
