LAST CHANCE - The Misanthrope

Thea Sharrock's glittering new revival sees Molire's satirical tale of love in a superficial world set in the present. The aristocracy under fire here is that of contemporary celebrity rather than 17th century France, so the presence of Keira Knightley, Tara Fitzgerald and Dominic Lewis adds extra resonance.

COMING SOON - The Kreutzer Sonata

Bernard Rose directs this modern look at Tolstoy's banned novella, illustrating the author's extreme view of sexuality. Taking its title and tempo from Beethoven's violin and piano sonata, the story centres on the mental breakdown of a husband who suspects his pianist wife is falling for a fellow musician.

NEW THIS WEEK - Liars - Sisterworld

Liars take delight in confounding listeners with each new release, and Sisterworld is no exception. It explores the experiences of LA's lost souls. References to David Lynch are plentiful - although sometimes applied carelessly. Strange and innovative sounds from the experimental trio.
