Kentish theatre company Icon hit the big time last summer with their Edinburgh Festival debut, which resulted in a Fringe First win for Release. Focusing on three newly-released prisoners, it is the latest in a lengthening line to pick holes in the Big Society blanket, building on the trend for verbatim theatre with a dramatic mix of fact and fiction.
