Adapted from the BAFTA-winning 90s TV series starring David Tennant (with notable curtains) Donna Franceschild’s script tells of Eddie McKenna, a DJ / double-glazing salesman who revives a radio station at a mental health institution, with the patients’ help. Updated to the present, it challenges attitudes to mental illness, and transfers to the Lyceum, Edinburgh in March.

All the elements were there – great writing, good music, a collection of fabulous characters facing unenviable challenges and a well structured story...
