The Tricycle Theatre, London
Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Tony Kushner joins forces again with Broadway-proven director Tony Taccone. The Independent“Tony Kushner's talent seems to have dwindled lamentably...” Five shorts...combine politically sharp ideas with tiresome surreal scenarios and feeble humour...the cast all have their moments, but Kushner's characters are ultimately mouthpieces, spelling out his big ideas...

Whatsonstage.com“Five short plays by Tony Kushner prove a mixed bag in this feisty import...” It’s always a pleasure to welcome actors as good as these from the other side of the pond: Tony Taccone, one of Kushner’s longtime associates, directs a versatile quartet in some acidic, fantastic collisions...

.
Time Out“Bright, noisy and quick to fade away...” Tiny they may be, but there's a lot going on in these five playlets by Tony Kushner. Yet while they leave you feeling faintly bedazzled, by the time you've finished rubbing your eyes, you wonder what it all adds up to...

.
this is london“Tony Kushner at his most fanciful and eclectic...” There’s a quality of abstract oddity in his writing that, surprisingly, begets not a sense of cerebral hauteur but instead a humorous and heartfelt appreciation of the moral ambiguities of modern American life...
